Trigger Point Therapy / Dry Needling

Trigger points are local hardenings in the muscles which trigger pain, but which are often felt at other points in the body. Through a strong local pressure, the therapist achieves an increase in blood flow and thus an improved supply of oxygen, whereby the muscles can again dissolve. An alternative to trigger point therapy with the hands is the Dry Needling. At the same time, the therapist pushes a fine needle in the middle of the trigger point and thus gets the improved blood circulation and the removal of the tension.
